We recently refurbished our house , and part of this was to replace the existing old front door , which was a white pvc awful looking thing , that was falling apart.
Through a mutual friend I made contact with Edgaras and Peter.  Peter called round with his show room – we chose a door –  and between us both we designed a door to go with our ideas.
The door is a custom design , and we chopped and changed the design alot , Peter and Edgaras were fully supportive of this at all stages.
The Team  arrived on time , and took only a few hours to put in a fantastic looking , and incredibly secure door.

As part of a recent major house renovation plan I decided to upgrade all the external doors, front door, back door and patio double doors, in my home. I was looking for a quality product that would improve security, help with heat conservation and, of course, look good.
On line I found “Skydas Doors” and was very impressed with the array of doors on offer. The agent for them in Dublin is Peter Murray.
Peter arrived at my home with his mobile showroom and explained all the features of the doors. Choosing the ones I wanted was the most difficult part of the whole project. The range was huge. Once decided upon Peter measured up and gave me his quote which I considered very fair and the order was placed. Within days I was given a delivery date of three weeks.
On the appointed day, Edgaras and his team arrived and the doors were installed, very professionally, fully and complete by the end of the second day.
The doors are really terrific. The additional security they provide is very reassuring and already I can notice the benefits of the higher specification insulation. An added bonus is the higher degree of sound insulation they provide. All this, and they look good too! They are not just doors, but are pieces of quality furniture in their own right and, judging by the complimentary comments from friends and neighbours, I’m not alone in thinking that.

 I am extremely pleased with the whole experience and would recommend Skydas doors, without hesitation.

This is to confirm my satisfaction with the security door which you fitted to my apartment at 122 Smithfield Village, Dublin, 7. 

As you know I was concerned that some of the apartments had been broken onto by the burglar kicking the apartment door which (together with the locks fitted by the builder) was strong enough in itself but which nonetheless gave way because the door jamb or frame splintered. The door which you have provided has a steel jamb and frame which is anchored into the masonry of the building. Nobody will come through the door without a key. The door and frame match the neighbouring apartment doors perfectly and it has been fitted seamlessly into the building.
